My Story
If the spirit of wanderlust propels you forward as much as it does for me, then you have come to the right place.
After all, what is our world here for, if not to explore and discover?
I’m Cheryl: teacher, trainer, and traveler-extraordinaire. My whole life, I’ve been moved by a desire to adventure through new places, cultures, and sites. Then, in 2011, my husband’s job in the Navy gave us the incredible opportunity to live in Naples, Italy, for two years.Â
What began as a wonderful opportunity to travel through Italy, grew into a commitment to discovering the whole world around us. My husband and I have explored unbeaten paths, dined at unusual restaurants, and challenged ourselves to enjoy the adventure and take risks!Â
And when our kids were born?
We didn’t stop. We kept going.

Because how could we not immerse our kids in the same spirit of discovery and adventure?
Along the way, we learned how to make traveling fun for the whole family. We found kid-friendly experiences and still found time to enjoy adventures as adults, too. It’s all about balance.
So now, I’m here to help YOU. Not only do I want to share the lessons I’ve learned and introduce you to unique experiences, but I also want to take the stress and guesswork out of planning YOUR next vacation!
I leverage my on-the-ground experience and combine it with industry knowledge to design tailor-made vacations for families (or even just for adults who need a getaway!). As a travel agent for Firefly Travels, I stay up-to-date on issues that impact travel and tourism, and I am proud to help connect you to a variety of accommodations and attractions through its vast network.Â
